1. Degrees: Academic Quality and Exclusive Purpose

The degrees awarded by the Reformed Theological Faculty (FTR), while conceived and structured according to high North American academic standards (CHEA/USA level) in terms of curricular rigor, maintain a strictly theological and confessional validity.

2. Validity and Exclusive Recognition.

It is essential that students understand the nature of these degrees:

Ecclesiastical Theological Value: The degrees are primarily intended for use and recognition within the Reformed Church and related denominational organizations, serving as an essential qualification for ordination and the exercise of ministry.

3. Teaching Method (Asynchronous and Tutoring)

The course is taught asynchronously, allowing students to study on their own schedule.

Flexibility and Cohorting: Study is independent but organized in groups (cohorts) to promote interaction.

Mandatory Tutoring: Each student is supervised by an academic tutor. This tutor will preferably be the Pastor or a qualified Elder from their home church, or alternatively, a tutor assigned by the FTR.

4. Admission Requirements

Admission is selective and based on academic, spiritual, and ministerial suitability.

Confessional and Spirituality Requirements (Mandatory for All)

Confessional Membership: Explicit subscription to the Institute's historic Reformed Confessions.

Letter of Recommendation: From the Pastor/Elders of the church to which the candidate belongs, certifying suitability for ministry.

Student Categories

Ordinary Students (Aspirants to the B.Th.): Educational Qualification: Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Objective: Clear and confirmed aspiration for pastoral ordination.

Special Students in Ministry (Aspirants to the A.Th./Single Courses): Educational Qualification: Not required (for those with experience).

Special Path: Admission and path are defined through a personal interview to recognize and integrate previous ministerial experience.
